This Toolkit contains tips and information on incorporating Safe Helpline into conversations about sexual assault on your base or installation and helps all Service members, from commanders to Victim Advocates, to be more confident talking about Safe Helpline.

The toolkit is a one-stop shop for all of your Safe Helpline communication needs. Use the introduction letter to introduce Safe Helpline to other sexual assault service providers on base, such as Chaplains, medical professionals, legal council, and military police. Use the sample newsletter articles to incorporate Safe Helpline in your regular base emails or print newsletters. Additional talking points, feedback forms, and marketing materials can be adapted to fit your needs.

The more we can make Safe Helpline information available, the less intimidating it is for a Service member to reach out for help.

The Toolkit contains:

  • Tips on how to promote Safe Helpline.
  • Talking points about Safe Helpline (short and long versions.)
  • Sample social media posts for Twitter and Facebook.
